These custom forging dies are compatible with either a pneumatic power hammer or a screw press (friction press) — whichever forming method your workshop already relies on. Because both of these processes require the iron to be heated before shaping, you'll also need a gas forge or an induction heating system to bring the material up to working temperature; we're happy to advise on pairing the right heating setup with your die order if you don't already have one in place. As hot forging dies, they're built specifically for this heated-material workflow, not for cold stamping or cold pressing applications.
